About Ben Weston: Ben Weston is a Singer/Songwriter and producer with his roots firmly planted in British Rock and Pop. Hailing from Buckingham in the heart of rural England he cites songwriting influences such as Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart, Billie-Joe Armstrong and Chris Carrabba.
He perfected his performance skills as a soloist whilst studying Music Technology at Lancaster University, and in 2004 released his debut album - Battle Stitches, Lightning Scars. This acoustic collection shows his unusual ability to write simple yet exciting songs that clearly pronounce his thoughts and evoke a sense of intimacy within the listener. Ben's talent for writing melodic verses and a memorable sing-along chorus is what sets him apart as a true pop songwriter.
In 2009, after five years focusing his skills on producing, he began recording his second studio album, Silhouettes and Sunshine. With his writing taking a new approach, this album, scheduled for release later this year, promises to be a high impact and dynamic sequel to the first.
